My photography is about the process of seeing.

I am interested in the raw experience of perception, so rich with the primitive fantasies and illusions of our collective unconscious. My photographs attempt to unearth the depth of these complexities, particularly the ambivalences and ambiguities in everyday existence.

The camera allows it all to come together: my profound attraction to the visual elements that surround me; a deep regard for people and their struggle to survive; and my longstanding obsession with light.

Through my photographs I often consciously search for one meaning but unconsciously find another.
